City tour - Anthropological Museum – Xochimilco

On the today's city tour, you can enjoy the Mexican past and its history as well as the modern metropolitan. You will experience the Pre-Hispanic culture visiting the anthropological museum and the Mayor temple as well as the colonial period with a visit to the main square called Zocalo, the National Palace, the Cathedral, the post office building and the palace of fine arts. Driving along the Reforma Avenue will show you the modern face of the city. A 2 hours tour at the anthropology museum will show you the ancient world of Central America. From the museum is a drive to the south of the city to the swimming gardens of Xochimilco. A stop at the UNAM (autonomic University of Mexico City) where you can appreciate the Olympic stadium and part of the University. Arrival at Xochimilco where you enjoy a boat ride with a typical “Trajinera” into the channels of floating gardens. If the traffic allowed it we will made a stop on the way back to the Hotel at the colonial district called Coyoacan, birthplace of the famous painter Frida Kahlo.



Teotihucan - Basilica of Guadalupe

The tour begins with the visit of the most important sanctuary of the American continent, the "Basilica of Guadalupe". Then drive about 35 km to the pre-Hispanic city called "Teotihuacan". About 1000 years after Christ, Teotihuacan was the largest metropolis in the Western hemisphere with approximately 240 000 inhabitants. The ceremony center with the sun and the moon pyramid as well as the avenue of the death spreads over four square km. Just recently, where found a huge treasure under the sun pyramid.

Mexico City - Taxco - Xochicalco - Cuernavaca - Mexico City

Ride over the mountains of the Sierra Madre to the silver town of Taxco. Nowadays Taxco is one of the most important places for getting silver jewelry in the world. Because of its great location - right on the slope of a mountain of the Sierra Madre - Taxco is one of the magical towns of Mexico. Visit the old town, the cathedral and explore the narrow streets with your numerous silver shops. Then drive back towards Mexico City. On the way, visit an archaeological site of the Aztecs, Xochicalco. Then drive to Cuernavaca, the city of “eternal spring”. Visit the old town with the cathedral, La Borda gardens and the Palace of Cortes. In the afternoon, return to Mexico City.


Mexico City - Tula - Tepotzotlán - Mexico City

The day starts with the visit to the archaeological site of Tula. This large and very important archaeological site was the headquarters of the Toltec King named Cuauhtémoc whose influence reached over Tajin to Chichen Itza. On the main temple, you can see the old students of Tulu, old warrior’s memorials that had a roof at the time. On the way back, you will visit Tepotzotlan, which it is an additional "magic place of Mexico". Here, the main attraction is the monastery of Jesus, San Francisco de Cuautitlán. After the visit, the trip goes back to Mexico City.


Mexico City – Cacaxtla – Cholula – Puebla – Mexico City

Drive over the mountains of the Sierra Madre passing the Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl volcanoes into the high Valley of Puebla. Visit the archaeological site of Cacaxtla. This site is one of the oldest in Mexico and habituated by Olmecs and Mayas. The very well preserved wall paintings tell of a great war. The ride continues to Cholula. Cholula is the largest temple in the world. Nearby you can find the Church of Santa Maria Tonantzintla, which was hand decorated over years by natives. After a short stop, you will have a very good view at the volcanoes Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl. The trip continues to Puebla where we have a walking tour of the historical center. In the afternoon, we will return to Mexico City.
